West Toronto: Infant and Child CPR and First Aid Course

Mommy Connections West Toronto is hosting another Infant and Child CPR and First Aid Course on Sunday May 15th, 2011 from 3:00pm – 5:30pm.   The class takes place at Think Fitness Studios (2489 Bloor St W, Bloor St W and South Kingsway)

The course is led by a Toronto EMS Paramedic and Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation resuscitation expert.

 This is informative and lifesaving training from an excellent speaker and expert in the field.

• Learn how to recognize and treat breathing and cardiac emergencies common to infants and children.
• Learn when to call 911 and what to do while waiting for EMS from an actual paramedic.
• Learn how to clear airway obstructions on a choking baby or a child and learn when to perform CPR. 

Cost is $50 per person, or $90 per couple.

Babies are welcome, but you may find it easier to concentrate if you’re able to make alternate arrangements for child care.
