Halton Region, ON Director

My name is Carrie and I’m the new Program Director for Mommy Connections in the Halton Region, including the cities of Oakville, Burlington and Milton!

After living in Toronto for a number of years, I moved to Oakville in late 2011 with my husband and daughter. My little girl has quickly grown into a very active, energetic toddler and I love spending as much time with her as I can. Seeing her experience new things, learn new words and above all, laugh, reminds me just how quickly they grow up.

I stumbled upon the Mommy Connections program one morning while surfing a parenting site, clicked the ad and reached out to inquire about opportunities in my town. At the time, Oakville had been launched by Karen Davey who manages the Toronto West territory. Karen skillfully laid the ground work for a very successful, and much needed program. I am thrilled to be expanding upon what Karen started in Oakville to also include Burlington and Milton.

I look forward to connecting with new moms in the community and learning more about the many resources each city has to offer new families.
