Directors Retreat – Keep Calm and Mommy On!

Two weeks ago we had our first ever Mommy Connections Directors retreat in the beautiful Alberta Rocky Mountains.  We brainstormed, learned, shared, laughed and really grew as a team for 3 wonderful days.

We asked our followers on facebook a few months ago what their favorite mommy slogan was and said we would use it for some upcoming campaigns.  One of those slogans was Keep Calm & Mommy On and this because the theme of our weekend!  Bags, cups, pens, sticky notes, tshirts and more!  The cups came in especially handy for Sangria and Daiquiri’s!

After a lovely dinner in Banff, we headed to the Banff Upper Hot Springs

We went for lots of walks around the Silver Tip Resort area, which is where we held our retreat!

Ford Canada provided our fleet to transport our team to the Mountains!

We broke into groups and brainstormed about what Mommy Connections means to us and our community.

Here are just a few statements we came up with.

• Mommy Connections re-creates the village idea of connecting and supporting moms

• Mommy Connections is a supportive and non-judgemental resource for families
