Hi, my name is Deb and I’m the new Midtown Toronto director. I’m excited to relaunch Mommy Connections in this vibrant part of the city, and I plan to bring a fresh and fun approach to our programs and events!

I’ve always been a natural net-worker (with a background in communications, PR/fundraising and business development), and I am passionate about connecting people with the resources they need. Mommy Connections offers an incredible forum in which to connect with the businesses, services and products you need while making amazing new friends along the way!

I discovered Mommy Connections when I attended a highly talked about pre-natal “baby shower” in the west end of Toronto. For me, the point of going wasn’t so much for the seminar (which was interesting and informative); it was because I realized the importance of making friends who were at the same stage as I so that we could compare notes on pregnancy and beyond. The opportunity to continue with Mom & Baby (and eventually Mom & Tot) programs means plenty of time to truly engage with other women and their little ones and to build lasting relationships.

When I became a mother, I realized even more how valuable are the bonds we share as women and mothers. I am thrilled to be a part of a company that not only encourages but also nourishes women coming together to share triumphs and failures, to laugh, to learn and to grow, and most important of all, to share the deep love we have for our children.

I look so forward to meeting you and watching as our Mommy Connections family grows.
