Hi, I’m Linda and I’m excited to bring Mommy Connections to London! I was born and raised in London. I met my husband, Terry in 2007 and we got married on our 5 year anniversary last April. We knew we wanted a baby right away and were lucky to have our son, Logan born 9 months later in January. We also have two little dogs, Muffin and Molly. So we are a family of 5!

I had a pretty smooth pregnancy. The only thing I really suffered from was heartburn. Logan did decide to surprise us 3 weeks early. I wasn’t due until the middle of February, but then one very early Sunday morning my water broke and approximately 12 hours later, Logan was born. Of course he is perfect! I can’t wait to be a hockey mom. He is growing and changing so fast! I’m loving being home with him.

Being a new mom can be overwhelming and tiring! During my pregnancy I was just worried about the labour and delivery… I didn’t know what it would be like to have a newborn. Now he is here and I want to learn about baby CPR, baby wearing, post pregnancy nutrition, teething, starting solids and baby medical care. Then there are the stressful topics of finding a daycare and budgeting while on maternity leave. Of course I also want to find activities to do with my son like fitness, baby massage, singing and story time.

I found Mommy Connections when I was reading an online forum during a 3am feeding. The moms were raving about the program, but when I checked out the website I was disappointed there wasn’t a London chapter.

The Mommy Connections programs give moms experience in a wide range of fun baby topics and activities while connecting moms with other moms in the city. Where else can you learn all of this in one place, get a free professional photo with your little one and a swag bag full of goodies!!

I have friends that have stayed friends with the moms from their baby group and I hope to do that too. It would be great to watch our children grow up together. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your little one soon!
