Jake and the Never Land Pirates Jake’s Magical Tiki Hideout Review

11/14/2013

My children (boy 6 and girl 4) were super excited at the prospect of a new Jake and the Neverland Pirates toy. Upon setting it up they immediately began to explore what the tiki key could do.  Right away they discovered how to open the secret doors (They were thrilled!), shortly after they they figure out the tiki key also made Tic-Toc Croc move (not quite as exciting) and and raised the crows nest (super fun).

After about 10 minutes of play they realized that the cannons worked too.  Those water cannons sure shoot far!

After about 15 minutes play began to die down.  With only one character, Jake, included this toy did not offer any diversity of play or shared playing.  That was a big disappointment, as there are SO many wonderful characters that could have been added to allow for a better play experience.

After adding in some of our own character (from other non-related play sets) the kids have enjoyed hours more fun.
