Children’s Place Deals & Shopping Fun

A few weeks ago, our Edmonton and Toronto teams were invited to attend 2 store grand openings.  One at West Edmonton Mall and the other at the new Stockyards location in Toronto.  Both locations gave $1000 in gift cards away during their weekend events and they had tons of sales and deals for customers as well.  It was perfect timing for many of our team, as they were all starting to get the itch to do some Spring and Summer shopping for their kids!  We love the Children’s place because they offer adorable clothes that stand up to lots of play, the styles and colours can so easily mixed and matched and they have great prices that afford many families to be able to stylishly outfit their kids for every season and event.

Here are some highlights from our Toronto team!

Deb in Midtown Toronto:

People were lined up outside the store anticipating the grand opening (a direct result of our awesome social media promotion leading up to the event!) and doors opened right at 10 am. Store was festive with balloons and people milling about. Racks were full and pretty much everything was on sale from 10 to 40 percent off. Shoppers seemed happy about getting a $10 gift card when they spent $25 or more (which wasn’t hard to do!). I saw lots of cute sunglasses, hats and bathing suits – top items on my list as I am looking forward to warmer temps!

Karen from West Toronto:

It was a great opening and our team had a lot of fun.  My son was thrilled that Children’s Place sells Lego and Power Ranger Tshirts.  They have become a staple in his weekly wardrobe!

Megan from Oakville:

My daughter Grace and I had a great time shopping at the new Children’s Place at the Stockyards. The store is full of bright spring colours. Grace picked out matching purple tights, sunglasses, and t-shirts for her and little sister! She was very excited to see Disney Princess Shirts as well. The Stockyards is a great place to go for shopping; unique outdoor complex with lots of parking and stroller friendly. We’ll be back soon for summer outfits – just need the snow to melt in Toronto!

I was greeted by friendly staff and the store was super clean, bright and very inviting!  There were lots of sale items, great selection and items had most sizes in stock!  Among other things, I bought an adroable rash guards for my boys (9-12m & 4T) – there was lots of selection!

Kori from Beaumont:

I was so glad to be included in the West Edmonton Mall Grand Opening!  I wouldn’t have missed it!  I stocked up on some great deals.  The store is full of adorable matching outfits, clearance deals on fall/winter clothes and summer clothes! I stocked up on a little of everything! You won’t be able to miss my boy at the splash park this summer in this adorable fluorescent orange UV protectant swimwear!

Chelsey from North Edmonton:

Friendly staff, bright, open store with plenty of room to manoeuvre even the biggest of strollers. They have clothing, shoes and accessories for all ages and stages for both Spring and Summer. We started getting ready for spring with a pair of rhinestone sunglasses, jeggings, jean shorts, a swimsuit and a handful of t-shirts!

We brought the kids along who were each allowed to pick out a bracelet while we shopped! It’s so nice to see all the bright colours out for spring and with deals at 40% off you can’t go wrong

Ally from West Edmonton:

The store was bright, inviting and stocked full of great deals for the warm weather that is coming up (soon!).  My daughter loved all the colourful graphic t-shirts on display, but she especially loved the jewelry rack and sunglasses display

Carol from Head Office:

I took my daughter for a mini shopping spree and she picked out about a dozen dresses.  The selection of dresses was amazing!  She was in heaven.  She of course also had to accessorize with wedge sandals, sunglasses and a denim jacket.  I can’t wait for Spring to officially arrive so she can start to wear everything outside, and not just at home!   Our team was really happy to be including in a fun day of shopping with the Children’s Place!  My favourite items were all of the toddler boy hats, ties, dress shirts and vests.  Our baby is going to look like a big boy this Easter!
