Review: Nighty Night Owl Smart Sensor

If you are familiar with the Sleep Sheep, the Night Night Owl is another variation.  I love the adorable design, especially since Owls are so popular for baby boy and baby girl nurseries right now.  I thought this would be an item for my son’s crib, but my 5 year old daughter who loves to sleep with a mountain of stuffies decided she needed it more!  It is a soft, plush animal, so even for older children, it works great and you can’t really tell the sound box is there.  She loves listening to it as she falls asleep.

This Nighty Night Owl Smart Sensor has got your back even in the middle of the night! When baby stirs or startles, this Owl’s sound-activated sensor automatically restarts its soothing white noise to ease your baby back into slumber.  This is my favourite part about this product.  It makes the product even better than the Sleep Sheep in my opinion, because the one fault I found with it was the fact that it automatically shuts off at 25 or 45 minutes and some babies seem to need a bit of white noise longer, or even throughout the night.  I love that it has the sound activation feature!

You can choose from 4 sounds; Mother’s heartbeat, Spring showers, Ocean surf or Whale songs to soothe baby back to sleep, and it has three sound sensitivity levels to adjust the sensor to environmental noise.
