Review: Kiddo Gear Kid Harness

We recently got a chance to review the Kiddo Gear Kid Harness, this innovative children’s hiking harness helps provide the mobility and security that allows your whole family to be active outdoors.

I recently went on a holiday to Ottawa. I fretted for weeks, wondering how I was going to manage travelling alone with my 14 month old daughter. Since she discovered that her legs were made for moving, all she has wanted to do is run! I was looking for a child activity harness so that she could run freely in the airport, but not get out of my site or lost in the crowds.

I wish that I had found Let’s Go Kiddo in time! Nevertheless, the Let’s Go Kiddo activity harness has been in high use, right here at home. My daughter copies everything I do (love, love, love!) which means she won’t sit still in her stroller while I am jogging. She wants to jog, too!

The Let’s Go Kiddo harness has been great for Grandma. She and my daughter run-walk behind me when I’m out jogging, which lets her stretch her little legs and follow mommy. No fear for Gramma of her running off the sidewalk and into the street, of falling down manholes, or running out of control straight into one of the many child-unfriendly dogs we have in the neighbourhood.

We did get some strange (i.e. judgey-judgey) looks from passersby, but we didn’t care. My daughter can run ahead of us, around us, behind us, climb and roll, and do it all safely within our reach. Let’s Go Kiddo; it really is mobility + security = enjoyment!
