LEGO DUPLO Pumpkin Make and Take Events

This Halloween our directors were sent some Duplo Make & Take Pumpkin kits to share with the mamas & children in their programs! Here’s what they did with them:

Airdrie
Beaumont

Mommy Connections Beaumont ended our Mom and Tots class with a fantastic little Halloween party! Complete with potluck snacks, goodies provided by Bake My Day, photos of little ones in their costumes by Raw Perspective and these adorable make and take pumpkin kits from Lego Duplo. The tots had a blast, eating, posing and building and were super excited to take their craft home with them!

Calgary – North

Calgary – South

Mommy Connections Calgary South hosted a Mom, Baby & Tot Halloween party that was attended by over 100 moms with their children. We had dancing, crafts, games, toys, photos and much more! The first 25 toddlers that came to the party were given a ‘make and take’ duplo pumpkin lego set. Needless to say we had a lot of moms arrive early and head straight to the craft table with their kids! The pumpkin was a great choice for the party and for the toddler age group, because there were a limited amount of pieces and moms could help to put the lego together when the kids had problems. Most of the toddlers were able to do it without help but it was a great craft for the party that they could take home. (We even caught some moms with babies trying to take some home:) Thank you Lego for providing this for our group!

Edmonton – North

Our Moms & Tots enjoyed their final class with a fantastic Halloween party full of adorable costumes, professional photos and Lego Duplo Pumpkin building!

Edmonton – South & West

We had several events in both West & South Edmonton to celebrate Halloween with our community of moms.  Two of the events were centered more around tots and the other event was for 5 & 6 year olds.  Even the older children loved their pumpkin projects!  The older kids (especially the boys!) were able to take their pumpkin’s apart and make other things with the Duplo as well.  They loved it!

Our Mom and Tots class had a little Halloween party complete with costumes, dancing and snacks. The icing on the and was the Duplo Make and Take Pumpkin kits! Little kiddos from 18 months (with help from mom), up to our 3 year olds had a blast assembling and dissembling the pumpkins and admiring the finished product! The kits were super easy for little hands to manoeuvre, and the instructions were straight forward and helpful! Thanks #DuploPumpkin for making our party great!”

Leduc

The were two Halloween parties consisting of a bunch cuties and their mommies all dressed up. The first party started off at the Library then carried on with a potluck lunch and making our “Duplo Pumpkins”. Next party was a fun gathering of moms and babes majority past participants of Mommy Connections. All getting together to visit and play!

Lethbridge

We just did a wind-up party play-date/social at a local Lethbridge park, it included snacks, kids in costume, visiting (21 attendees) and the Duplo make & take.

Red Deer

Baby’s first year is full of excitement, not to mention celebrating baby’s 1st Halloween. Halloween doesn’t have to be about haunted houses, candy and all things scary; for baby it’s about creating memories and traditions. We got into the Halloween spirit today with a costume party, a Duplobuilding event (#DUPLOpumpkin), a Halloween craft and of course treats!

Sherwood Park

Spruce Grove

Our Duplo Halloween Party was a huge success! We held the event at Menchies in Spruce Grove, and even had a special visit from Menchie himself! We made a few crafts, had some delicious frozen yogurt and of course the kids all got to build their very own Duplo Pumpkins! The kids had a great time, and we really look forward to working with Duplo again in the future!

St. Albert

Our moms & babies and moms & tots groups came together for a fun and fantastic Halloween extravaganza! Food was enjoyed, photos were snapped and the big kids showed the babies how fun and easy Duplo is to build and play with. The Duplo pumpkins were a hit with both the toddlers and the moms & dads! It was quite evident that the grown ups had just as much fun with the build as their little ones did!

Saskatoon

We did it to wrap up our Mom and Tot program and had our Halloween party at the same time. The kids loved following the steps and putting their pumpkins together, and then taking them apart and doing it again!

Barrie

The Mom and Tots of Barrie loved the idea of Duplu Make & Take Kits, they thought it was fun, unique and creative. A fabulous themed easy craft project for the age group. Thanks Duplo:)

Caledon, Burlington & Oakville

At our last Mom & Baby class in Oakville and Burlington, it was our Halloween costume photo day! It was a great class as the moms were given the time to relax and socialize with each other, while professional pics with a Halloween themed backdrop were taken. The moms were each given a #DUPLOPumpkin kit to make with their little ones.

Durham

Our tots had a great time at their Halloween party at Kids & Company! First they worked on their LEGO DUPLO Make and Take Kits then it was all about the Halloween photo session courtesy of YReindel Photography! Good times and I got to rock my inner Foxxy! They were all so cute in their lil’ costumes.#DuploPumpkin

London

Mommy Connections London, had a spooktacular time creating our Duplo Jack O’Lanterns at our Halloween Party! Some of our tots were able to assemble their jack o’lantern all by themselves and others needed a little help from their families. Our tots enjoyed watching each other create their jack o’lanterns.

Markham

Mommy Connections Markham hosted a Halloween Meet & Greet for local moms and tots.  In addition to Halloween treats and costumes, toddlers aged 1-4 got to make Halloween inspired Duplo Pumpkins.  The sets came with easy to read picture instructions and were perfect for the age group at our event.  Moms loved the simplicity and the actual final product which was considered cute and something their little ones could make over and over again.

Midtown Toronto

What a great time we had a great time with the Duplo Make & Take Pumpkin to Jack-O-Lantern during our Mom & Tot Teeny Halloweenie Parties!

Toronto East

What a fantastic turn out at our Duplo Halloween party taking place at Sprouts.  We had 50 moms/dads & kiddies come for the fun of building their Duplo Pumpkins and eating some yummy cupcakes.

Toronto West

Our little ghouls and goblins were thrilled to each receive their own Lego Duplo package as part of our Halloween Party.  The pumpkin was the perfect level of difficulty for our tots aged 1 – 3.  We built them together as a group following the simple instructions, and then we took them apart to have some free play where their imaginations ran wild!  The parents loved that the pieces were large and safe enough for even the younger teething siblings to enjoy!
