Review: Chicco Lullaby SE Playard

The Chicco Lullaby Playard has been a lifesaver for our infant daughter.  I haven’t ever seen a Playard with the toys attached – it is such a great idea!  I have been using the Playard more as a safe place to put my daughter down on our main floor during the day and she has also been napping in it a bit over the last few weeks too.  The toys and colours keep her occupied so I can put her down for a little while and the vibrations and sounds are so great for nap time!  I have been working on a bit of sleep training with her, so I am trying to put her down for a nap once a day in the playard and then I am hoping she knows its bedtime (and to sleep through the night!) at night when we use her crib in her bedroom.

The playard isn’t overly light when it is all packed up, but that is to be expected when it includes to many features and is so solid.  Although it looks like it might be complicated, it was very easy to set up the first time (even for a first time mom!) and it can easily be taken down with the push button fold option if you need to move it or take it with you somewhere.  This is an awesome baby product to have for those visits to Grandma’s house or an evening at friends and the toy part can be removed and used as a playmat on the floor.  There is a also a change table that you could leave at home to lighten your load, or take it along!  We also really like the colours of it and overall design – it is definitely more modern than many out there. If you are looking for a Pack N Play/Playard product, I highly recommend this one by Chicco.  It can be purchased through Canada’s Baby Store for $213.95 and shipping within Canada is FREE!
