Review: Graco Modes Sport Click Connect Travel System

I will never forget the day I took that pregnancy test. I have been wanting to be a mom for as long as I can remember. It was late one Tuesday night and at first when that single line came up I told my husband, nope not pregnant…until that faint second line started to appear. I couldn’t believe it. The doctor had said on average it could take eleven to twelve months to get pregnant, this was our second month.  After some jumps for joy, tears, hugs and shock we realized our life would be forever changed in the most amazing way.

Along with all the excitement and joy came a long list of items to purchase and prepare for baby. As first time parents there are so many options for the right types of strollers, bath products, clothes, diapers, etc.; we really had no idea where to start. It was all so overwhelming.

When it was time to look at all the stroller and carseat options, the Graco 3 in 1, Modes Sport Click Connect stood out from many other options. The fact that the stroller, carseat and toddler seat all came together saved us time and frustration in trying to find other options that work and fit together. As well, is has ten different riding options making it very versatile. When I got the box home it took my husband no more than fifteen minutes to put the stroller together, learn how to clip the seats in and out and fold up the stroller for travel. Such a relief for a new mom and dad to be.

The carseat came with a newborn insert which was comforting knowing that baby will fit into it right from the hospital. It didn’t take this new mom long to figure out how to adjust the straps either and there are lots of options on sizes to make sure baby will be safe and secure. We also tested the carseat out on a one year old and it still fit her safe and snug as well. This carseat seems to hold babies a bit longer where others have 30lbs weight limit this one has a 35lbs limit and is lighter in comparison to others giving us a longer time with this carseat. One feature which we really like is that the base of the carseat is rounded making it easy to rock baby on the floor if you’re stuck in a pinch.

The Graco stroller is built strong with a three wheel base making it easy to maneuver and turn and can carry a child up to 50lbs. It is light weight, has a giant storage compartment and even cup holders which you usually have to buy separately. With one latch the stroller folds up nice and compact for vehicle storage and travel. Although we won’t be able to use the toddler seat for some time, clipping the carseat and toddler seat on and off the stroller is as easy as one button on the carseat and two on either side of the toddler seat.

Over all, we are really excited about the Graco 3 in 1, Modes Sport Click Connect and would recommend it to anyone else looking for an all in one stroller, carseat and toddler seat kit. For this nesting, planner of a mom, knowing that all of this is taken care of in one box before baby comes is a huge comfort. Can’t wait for baby to arrive at the end of June and summer road trips ahead.
