Introducing our newest partners; Peekaboo Beans!

Mommy Connections loves everything play and we are so proud to be working with Peekaboo Beans for the next year as one of their Ambassadors.  We will get to try out many of their pieces from each of their 4 lines over the course of the next 12 months.  We started with the Fall 2015 line and is it ever cute!  You can checkout the entire catalogue here.  I read a post from another Ambassador that said they wish they had a shrink ray so they could wear the clothes!  Our family feels the same way.  The clothes are amazing quality and perfect for our cooler fall weather.  The fabrics are nice and think and the styles and colours are amazing.  I have a very independent 6 year who likes to pick out all of her own clothes (and sometimes has several ‘wardrobe’ changes in a single day!) I love how all the clothes coordinate really well.  It makes my job a lot easier in the mornings before school!

The first beautifully packaged Ambassadors box arrived and I had a very excited 6 year old.  She started circling all the pieces that she wanted from the catalogue, which was pretty much everything!

We quickly placed our order and the shipment arrived really quickly.

I was surprised how big the clothing fits.  I am so used to the strange sizing that most children’s stores have.  My daughter is usually a size 9/10 at the age of almost 7, which is so ridiculous!  I ordered size 8 in the tops and they were all quite big.  It is so nice that they will actually fit for a while, and after few rounds of laundry.  The jackets/dresses are all designed with really unique sleeves that can be rolled under at first and then taken out to make the sleeve longer as your child grows.  Because the fabric and overall design is of such a high quality, the clothing pieces will definitely last as the child grows and needs the sleeves let out.  You know a mom had input when you see clever ideas like that one!  We found the pants fit a bit more small than the tops, and I would probably even go a size larger next time.

I love the way the catalogue is organized.  There is lots of background on the amazing founder, Traci, how to become a Stylist and have fun while making an income for your family, insight into the current designs and even information on their PLAY it Forward initiative. Peekaboo Beans Stylists have raised over $36,950 through this initiative and have built 6 playgrounds and the company as a whole has built over 300 playgrounds and given access to more than 500,000 kids!  The clothing comes in size 2-10 for your big kids and 0-18 months for your baby.

We received the following items from the Fall line – it all coordinates perfectly! We got the Always Forever leggings in both black and grey.  A the mom of a tall, very slender little girl, leggings or jeggings are the only way to go.  Other pant just don’t fit!  The bow detail on the back is adorable.  The Imagine That skirt is worn at least once a week at the moment.  It is so cute and the perfect skirt for Fall.  Cute with leggings in the morning and bare legs after school when the weather warms up.

The clothing is so great for play and still really nice looking.  It is perfect for school, playdates, dinner out or fun in the backyard as my daughter is pictured below!

We can’t wait to see the new line coming soon – the few sneak peaks I have seen look amazing!
