Review: Lipidol

I will be a lifetime lipidol fan! I have lived in Vancouver the past five years and the climate there is very good for the skin. Whenever I came back to Saskatchewan, especially in winter, my skin would become dry and flaky within days. When my family and I decided to move to Saskatchewan a few months ago, I dreaded the climate change and its effects on my skin. Well just before I moved, I was given the opportunity to try Lipidol. I started using it as soon as I got it. The face wash and body wash are my absolute favourite and are now a product I don’t want to ever go without. The night time face oil is something I use when I’ve spent a long time outside during the day as it really soothes the effects the cold air has on my face.

When I started using the face wash, the first thing I noticed was how well it removes makeup. I love that. My skin is glowing and people notice that. We had to leave town for over a week after Christmas and I forgot my lipidol… My skin started getting flaky and dry and when we got back home and I started the regimen again, it only took a few days for my skin to get back to how nice and moisturized it had become. 

The body wash is amazing. I love using it as a shave cream for my legs. In the winter I always get really itchy legs from the dry air but that hasn’t happened at all because they are so soft and moisturized from this product. I also love the smell… It’s pretty unique and I can’t stop smelling it. When I use it as a shave cream I never get ingrown hairs.

I like the other products as once in a while kind of treatments. They are so soothing but I find that they can get a little heavy for a daily routine. My husband loves the after shave oil and uses it all the time.

I am hooked! I love this product and I am recommending it all the time! People have been complimenting me everywhere on how great my skin looks. My pores are visibly smaller and because my skin is so soft, it makes my makeup so much easier to apply.
