Review: Playmobil Eggs

Easter is just around the corner!

Instead of buying the same chocolate year to year, add a unique touch to your child’s Easter basket with PLAYMOBIL’s new Eggs! Split open the original PLAYMOBIL Egg to uncover anything from a soccer player to an alpaca. Children can use the PLAYMOBIL egg to store all their toy pieces, or even as their own piggy bank! This versatile toy set is a great addition to Easter baskets and party favors, making it a go-to Easter product.

My 5 year old daughter couldn’t wait to open the PLAYMOBIL Egg “Mermaid with Seahorses”. It comes mostly assembled and she could easily build together the parts that weren’t.

The colours are very nice and vibrant and the toys are very sturdy. The eggs are recommended for ages 3-10 but I wouldn’t recommend the Mermaid Egg for kids under 5 as there are very small seashells in the set, and it required some assembly of small parts.

My 3 year old son got the “Soccer Player with Goal” egg, and absolutely loves it, it is suited to his age and the only thing I had to help him with is putting the player’s number on it’s shirt. It comes with stickers numbered 1 through 23 so your child can pick their own number.

The eggs are sturdy and easy enough for the kids to open & close which makes them great to store all the small pieces when they are done playing. There is also a coin slot in the bottom of the egg to use as a piggy bank alternately.
