Whimsical Charm Gift Set Review

We received a beautiful gift set from Whimsical Charm.  It was perfect timing as one of our friends just had a baby a week prior to receiving the gift set.  The gift set is actually a three piece set which includes a super soft receiving blanket with a solid colour on one side and a stripe pattern on the other, baby mittens and a baby hat, all in a beautiful aqua colour.  The new baby we shared this gift set with is a little boy (Griffin – love the name!) but it definitely could work for a baby boy or baby girl.

The receiving blanket is oversized, so it can actually be used as a swaddling blanket, unlike many other baby blankets.  The colour will stay nice and bright as it is 90% cotton and 10% lycra.  Whimsical Charm recommends avoiding fabric softener and tumbling dry on low when washing any of the items included in the gift set.

This set is the perfect gift to bring when visiting mom and baby in the hospital and will be perfect for the drive home.  A soft and warm little hat and mittens with elastic around the wrist to ensure they stay on so baby doesn’t get any scratches!
