As promised, I am back for Part 2 of my Christmas Baking Exchange post!
Last weekend I attended an awesome event with a group of mamas that I thought was just the cat’s meow – a baking exchange! It was super simple, fun, and a great way to get all of the Christmas baking done without actually having to do a crap-load of Christmas baking.
Basically how it worked was we each took the amount of treats we wanted to leave with. So, for example, if you wanted to take home 6 dozen treats, you took 6 dozen treats! It was an excellent set-up and we were able to get a variety of treats to take home for the holidays. I got some brownies, some white chocolate snowmen thingys, a couple different squares, a couple kinds of cookies, and a few other yummy things!
Like I showed you in my last post, I made some Caramel Covered Marshmallows that were a huge hit. My other item was equally as easy, a touch more delicious, and way prettier. So here is my step-by-step guide for Candy Cane Pretzels!
1) Gather all of your ingredients – pretzels, white chocolate (I used white chocolate chips), crushed candy canes

2) Melt white chocolate in a double boiler (or any other means that you like to melt chocolate with!)

3) Dip the pretzels in white chocolate and then dip them in the crushed candy canes.

4) Enjoy your DELICIOUSLY satisfying treat!
