Baby Sign Language (ages 4 months to 3 years of age) has been researched for over 25 years! The benefits are amazing.

Join My Smart Hands Saskatoon for an 8 week Level class or our monthly workshop!! Together, we will learn to communicate with signing by using songs, stories, activities and have opportunities to learn through discussions!

My Smart Hands Saskatoon has two wonderful Level classes as well as a monthly Sign, Play & Explore Workshop for parents in and around Saskatoon. All classes are fun, educational and promote a language rich environment. We teach American Sign Language Signs though the use of stories, songs, games, activities and sharing. Come and learn a wonderful parenting tool, while your child learns social skills, to play with other children and how to communicate all while we provide activities that promote parent-child interaction!

Level I (8 week class)

Tuesday March 4 to April 22 from 10:30-11:15AM

Thursday March 6 to April 24 from 2:00-2:45 PM

Thursday March 6 to April 24 from 3:00-3:45

*each week has a new theme which include: abc’s, everyday words, family, food, animals, toys, objects, bedtime, emotions and more!!

Level II (8 week class)

Tuesday March 11 to April 29 from 11:45-12:45

Tuesday March 11 to April 29 from 6:15-7:00PM

Sign, Play & Explore Workshop

This is a brand new program to Saskatoon. By creating play invitations; parents and their babies and/or toddlers explore their world, develop skills, and engage in meaningful (developmental) learning experiences and all while having fun.  We will teach American Sign Language signs, activities and games that encourages parent-child interaction. Come join us the first Wednesday of each month to connect, communicate and bond as parents and children (ages 2/4 months to 3 years of age)

These workshop are great for parents wanting to learn to sign with their children or those developing their signing vocabulary.

While the themes repeat throughout the year, there will be different learning activities and opportunities to play and explore.

Theme I: Sensory (February, June, November 2014)

Theme II: Language Development (March, July, December 2014)

Theme III: Physical & Brain Development (April, September 2014)

Theme IV: Creative Play (May, October 2014)

Cost: $10/family or 5 pass card for $40 (5 workshops for the price of 4)!!!!
