After stirring an audience into a standing ovation at its Hot Docs World Premiere Milk is coming to theatres in June!
Milk will continue to foster passionate debates. Please join us in Saskatoon on Thursday June 25th at 11:00 am at Rainbow Cinemas
Mark your calendars!

Through an intimate and artistic lens, Milk brings a universal perspective on the politics, commercialization and controversies surrounding birth and infant feeding over the canvas of stunningly beautiful visuals and poignant voices from around the globe. Inspiring, informative, provocative and sensitive, Milk celebrates bringing a new life into this world with a strong call to action and reflection.

I was fortunate enough to watch this movie a couple weeks ago and it is truly eye opening and inspiring. The films creator Noemi Weis explores the power of human breast milk in the our world. The film shows how breast milk and breastfeeding is preserved and politicized in different cultures around the world. It shows how important encouragement and support are for all breastfeeding women, not only from their families but from society as well, to ensure they establish a successful milk supply and breastfeeding relationship with their child.
