Our 2 year old is so excited – this afternoon we were in the front yard and her dad noticed a birds nest, with a Robin in it in the tree next to our front step. Addison loved the idea that the bird had her house right there and she could come and visit her.

Then, after supper things got very exciting – Addison wanted to go out and see her bird friend and she found no mom bird, but 3 eggs and 1 of them was hatching. She was able to stand there and watch this baby bird being born into the world. Well now she is in love – she is constantly at the window trying to see these babies and wants to go and help the mom bird!

I’m sure for the next few weeks we will be checking on this bird!
