Our BigSteelBox Portable Storage Unit Made our Renovation so Much Easier!

So my husband had a crazy idea that he wants to drywall, mud, and paint the garage this summer – because we have nothing else going on! So I said ok – but where are we going to put everything? We decided to get a steel portable storage unit from BigSteelBox that we would keep on our property as we use a lot of the stuff in the garage throughout the summer – bikes, lawn mower, etc. so we still need it to be easily accessible.

We decided to go with BigSteelBox and I’m so glad we did – they have awesome customer service and it was delivered right to our driveway.

Next came the big job – emptying the garage. Only about 10% of the stuff in the garage is mine, the rest is my husband’s. I was hoping it would be a good time to sort through everything and get rid of some stuff – like the 8 boxes of his that went up on a shelf when we moved in 8 years ago and he has never looked at again. But nope, we keep it all –little league trophies, boxes of old school notes, etc. Our 20-foot BigSteelBox filled up quickly!

I love the convenience of having the Box on our driveway – I can quickly run out and find what I need. I love knowing that our belongings are safe and secure and will stay clean and dry. I love that the Box made renovating our home and simple and stress free experience. Our girls are a bit disappointed now that the Box is full of our stuff – when it was empty they thought it made an excellent playhouse for them! We will have to empty it out and have a couple days of it empty for them to play in it before we get it picked up!
