Mother’s Day Craft For Toddlers – Hand and Foot Print Flower

05/02/2012

Here’s a simple craft idea that we recently made at our Toddler Connections program.  The perfect gift for Grandma on Mother’s Day!

You’ll need:

  • Coloured Paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue Stick
  • Circle Stickers (optional, you can just cut circles out of your paper if it’s easier)
  • Your precious tot’s hands & feet!

Trace both of your child’s hands and feet onto paper.

Add two pieces of paper under your traced hands and cut out the stencil so that you have 6 hands in total.

Cut out your feet (you only need two if these)

Cut a rectangular stem.

Glue the hands in a circular fashion so that it looks like a flower.  Attach the stem and use the two feet as the flower’s leaves.

Attach your sticker or cut out circle as the centre of your flower and write your message on there.

Enjoy!
