Money Mondays: Arbonne – A Business That You Hope Goes Down the Drain

We’re  in week 3 of our Money Monday series, featuring some fantastic business opportunities that allow you to make extra income while working from home.  This week we chatted with Julia Baxter from Arbonne.

Tell us about your business, and how you got started with the company.

Once a burnt out employee of some of the world’s largest companies, I craved time freedom and financial independence, and saw self-employment as my way out of the rat race.  I became a marketing consultant and though I love what I do, my income was defined by the hours I worked.  I was maxed out — Something was broken!

A close friend and successful music producer introduced me to Arbonne.  After 3 days using the incredible anti-aging line, and learning some staggering info about personal care products and industry, I was ready to switch products.  Then she asked me a life-altering question:

“If you keep doing what you’re doing now, will you be where you want to be?”.  My answer was “No!”.

The concept:  My monthly spend on everyday skincare, shampoo, diaper cream, makeup, etc. was literally going down the drain, but could easily become an income:

1. Stop buying harmful products from retailers who don’t pay you
2. Redirect that same spend to purchase pure, safe and beneficial products at a wholesale discount from yourself and
3. Show others how to do the same

What?  I could get PAID for bathing?  I was ALREADY bathing and knew others who did too!

Two years later, this business is a total blessing and fits into the nooks and crannies of my busy life.  It has replaced my full time marketing income, connected me with a team of stellar people, and I feel great about what goes down the drain!  In addition to great compensation, the professional and personal development, bonuses, incentives and rewards are endless.
