I am obsessed with all things Christmas. Just call me Karen Griswold (if you don’t get that reference then you’re clearly not as obsessed as I am – ha!) That’s why I was beyond excited when I discovered a new app – The 2014 Family Holiday Guide.

Their experts have combed the city for the best bets for the holidays, and they’ve pulled together a must-see list and checked it twice! They’ve taken the guesswork out of picking the best Santa sightings, shows, fairs, bazaars, markets, parades, toy shops, Christmas tree farms and holiday magic. Think of it as my Top Santa Sightings blog post on steroids!

This year you and your family are going to enjoy the holidays to the max! Dust off your Instagram account and get ready to take some awesome pics as you make the most of the holidays. Everything is there at your fingertips. Share event and shopping ideas with your friends, post them to your Facebook, save them to your calendar, check event websites, call theatres for showtimes, or find it on a map. Click “cool stores” to discover local shops in your neighbourhood (like Diaper-eez) organized by the type of gifts they sell. I especially love the “Pay It Forward” page, which lists local charities in need of support this year (like The Diaper Bank of Toronto and New Mom Project)
