Our Favourite March Break Camps In West Toronto – The Mommy Connections Fave 5!

If you are looking for a March Break camp for your child in West Toronto – look no further!  Here is a list of five of our favourites:

1. Suitcase Theatre

At Suitcase Theatre, campers experience non-stop artistic activities, from painting and drawing, to dressing up and creating silly skits, to dancing and singing karaoke. With a different theme for each day, including Minion Monday, Pajama and Pokemon Day and Dramapalooza, fun is guaranteed! Founded by the original creator of Mr. Dressup, one of Canada’s most beloved children’s television shows, Suitcase Theatre is a place where children are only limited by their imaginations.

Age: 4-10 years

Location: All Saints Kingsway Anglican Church at 2850 Bloor Street West on the corner of Prince Edward Blvd

Cost: Full Week: $259 for 9am-4pm or $65/ per full day. Half days are also available (9am-12pm or 1-4pm at $45 per morning or afternoon)

2. Neighbour Note

Do your little ones dream of becoming rock stars? Neighbour Note believes there is a rock star in everyone just waiting to get out! After all, who hasn’t dreamed of getting on stage and rocking out? This is School of Rock! No experience necessary! All participants will be formed into bands of 3 to 5 members. Each band will work together to write songs, design t-shirts with band names and logos, make costumes, and learn to play some beginner rock tunes! All band members will receive introductory tutorials on guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals.  This camp also includes a Rock Showcase performance, professional photo shoot and HD video recording of the concert.

Age: 4-10 years

Location: Rehearsal Factory, 160 Islington Ave (Lakeshore & Islington)

Cost: Full Week: $350 for 9am-4pm or $240 for half days.   Early drop-off and late pick-up can be arranged; call to discuss the details.

3.  CJ’s Skate Camp

Looking for a unique camp experience? CJ’s Skate Camp operates in a world-class facility. Life at CJ’s Camp is specifically designed for the skateboarder & scooter rider, from beginner to advanced levels. They offer a fun, well-rounded program including lunch, and a healthy morning and afternoon snack. This is perfect for any young person, especially those who are giving skateboarding or scootering a try for the very first time and want to have fun. Campers also participate in broad spectrum of other activities including dodge ball, Capture the Flag and arts and crafts. Register here.

Age: 5-16 years

Location: 60 Horner Avenue (Just off the Gardiner Expressway between Kipling and Islington, South of the QEW)

Cost: Full Week: $299 for 8:30am-4pm, Extended Care available from 8-8:30am ($5/day) and from 4-5pm ($5/day) Includes lunch and snacks!

4. The Little Gym

Camp at The Little Gym of Mississauga gives your kids all the camp experience without a week-long commitment. Their flexible camp days keep kids bodies and brains active all day long and works with your schedule too!  They combine fun physical activities, skill building and imaginative games with team building, arts & crafts and LEGO building challenges.  With half and full day camp options available, extended before and after care and pizza Fridays, your kids will be talking about Serious Fun for weeks!

Age: 4-8 years

Location: 2200 Dundas St. E, Unit 6 (at the Etobicoke/Mississauga Border)

Cost: Full Week: $280 for 9am-4pm, Single day and half day options available.  Extended care is also available, $5 per hour

5. Charb Arts

Don’t be a Muggle this March Break. Join Charb Arts and dive deep in the magic and mystery of Harry Potter and the world of wizards. Charb Arts programs support kids in building a healthy lifelong relationship with the arts through dance, art and music. Which House will the sorting hat recommend for you? Join popular Hogwarts classes in potions, wand making and Quidditch training. Have your child come prepared with lunch, two snacks and comfortable clothing for movement and art project.

Age: 4-10 years

Location: 2238 Dundas St. W. Suite 111 (Dundas & Ronsesvalles)

Cost: Full Week: $275 for 8:30am-4pm, Extended Care available, $25/week for pre care, $50/week for after care
