FISHER PRICE ROCK N PLAY PORTABLE BASSINET
When my son was born, my husband and I wanted to make sure that we didn’t confine ourselves to our home, or go into a parent-hibernation phase. We wanted to be able to go to the mountains for the weekend, visit friends & family, and have a night out (kid-less) once in a while. Like most people before kids, we really didn’t know what was in store for us! I remember going to Calgary for the weekend, and it felt like we were packing for 2 weeks! With the diapers, feeding supplies, toys, bouncy chairs, clothes, the playpen and the stroller we barely had enough space in the vehicle for our little bag! Now that we have doubled the kids (and are still in the same vehicle), I love finding products like the Rock N Play Portable Bassinet.
This Bassinet folds down to be about the size of a flattened bouncy chair, which makes it awesome for traveling and storage when not in use.  It comes with two toys to keep baby entertained and happy while they’re awake, which offers a nice alternative to packing exersaucers and other chairs. I love that the bassinet is suspended for rocking baby to sleep if they’re having trouble settling, which can often be the case when you’re away from home. The fabric is easily removable and machine washable, which is also a nice feature – especially if using outdoors or for camping.
 
This Bassinet is perfect for any families who do a lot of traveling or camping. We used it often as a quick sleep solution for sleep-overs at Grandmas as it is a smaller, easier to pack alternative to a regular playpen.  One thing I would have liked to see with this product would have been for there to be a music or “white-noise” attachment, but overall our family was extremely happy with this product!
